Hi Mom! 

Guess who joined the site?  Ann, your long lost neighbor in Kentucky!  I thought you would love being able to keep in touch with each other...  Hope you both have fun chatting with each other!  Don't forget to take a peek at the recipes - I've added some new ones recently! 

Ann, thanks for joining.  Feel free to poke around and add to any of the forums you want to.  You too mom...  The kids haven't joined yet, but Ashley and Hannah are going to. 

I'm starting to get spring fever so I might have to do add gardening tips soon...  I'd like to do some canning this year too.  I really want to learn how to make jelly.  Since I am a notorious note keeper, I thought I would keep my notes online so I don't lose them... 

If either of you try one of the recipes, leave a post and let me know how it turned out - I haven't tried most of them, but they looked good to me...

If either of you think of another topic you would like me to add to the forums...  Just let me know!  I'll probably add a crafting or do it yourself forum just so I can keep more notes on ideas I want to try in the future.  There will probably be more later.  I really like the idea of having multiple topics to choose from.

Welcome to my little site...  And thank you both for joining - I hope you find some interesting things while you look around in here.  It'll be fun if the kids join - I never seem to be able to keep in touch with them all.

If you have any problems with emails from the site or have questions, let me know. 

I will be posting alot for a while so if you get tired of seeing emails from here you can set your member settings to email once a week  or no mail so you are not bombarded with stuff you are not interested in.  It's easy to get online and just look in the forums you are interested in.
